Financing - Career Training Loans

This loan has been designed to assist in the financing of continuing education. It can be used for technical training or trade school, distance learning or other continuing education programs to cover the total cost of education and certain related expenses. iFOD works very closely with Sallie Mae for Student Tuition financing.

Sallie Mae loans are usually processed within 24 hours from submission of the loan application. To obtain the loan application, you have two choices: Download the form off the internet (procedure is shown below), or contact  iFOD staff. We will fax or mail the application to you. You may go directly to the SallieMae website now and complete their on-line loan application. Their website can be found at www.salliemae.com.

The loan process is really quick and easy. Occasionally a loan application is turned down due to blemished credit. In this event, Sallie Mae will request a co-signer on the loan. They will mail or fax you the form. Again, complete the co-signer form and return it to iFOD  for final loan processing

International Student Information — the I-20 form

Students from countries outside the United States, who are planning to come to the U.S. for FAA Aircraft Dispatcher training must enter on a M-1 student visa. IFOD will complete a U.S. Immigration form known as the SEVIS I-20, then forward it to the student.

To make things easy for everyone, we have created an On-line Student I-20 Information Form that will let us know your complete name, date of birth, country of birth, and citizenship. Click here to go to this form. International students must complete this electronic form, then transmit the information to iFOD for processing. Once we receive the information and your SEVIS fees of  $250 U.S. dollars, we will immediately send you the completed I-20 immigration form.

If you do not want to complete the Online I-20 International Student Application Form, you have another option. You can simply Print the I-20 Application. Go there, and print out the form, complete it, and then mail or fax it to our school. You can even type out the information and then print.

The school has now simplified the procedures by completing your I-901 forms on receiving your application. The I-901 is normally filled by the student and the fee paid at the embassy, so that the SEVIS system may track your progress. On receiving the SEVIS I-20 and I-901, you must make an appointment with the    American (US) Embassy or Consulate for the M-1 Student Visa approval. Please let us know your arrival date and flight information so that we may book your hotel and transport arrangements from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Please note: When you arrive in the U.S. you must have proof that you have the money or have already wired the money into our banking account when you go through U.S. Immigration and Customs
