Airline Flight Dispatcher Training Center holds a training contract with Middle East Airlines.

Richard Wateska began negotiating with M.E.A. Flight Operations managers in 1994. Finally, in late 1997, Mr. A.C. Hamra faxed us to advise that AFDTC had been given a contract to train MEA's Flight Dispatcher / Operational Control Center staff. Their Dispatch Office is located in Beirut, Lebenon. So far, we've trained sucessfully trained12 of their Flight Dispatchers for their FAA license.

Pictured here are our first 6 students from Middle East Airlines.  They're all very experienced Airline Dispatchers, and have worked for many years in M.E.A's Operational Control Center in Beirut, Lebanon. All of them attended Airline Flight Dispatcher Training Center's FAA Aircraft Dispatcher training course, and now each one has the license in their posession. All of these students worked hard, as did the staff instructors at AFDTC. This group graduated from our school in April, 1998, then was followed by another 3 in May, 1998.  Another group from M.E.A. is scheduled to attend AFDTC during our August training program.
