Airline Flight Dispatcher Training Center is a Federal Aviation Administration approved Aircraft Dispatcher School, located in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Dallas/Fort Worth FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) has granted formal approval to operate the training center, in compliance with Part 65 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. The school also established a full-time training center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in the Middle East. The Dubai school operated successfully from September 2000 until October 2001. 

AFDTC was founded in September 1991 in Tarrant County, Texas.

The Boeing CompanyThe school's headquarters and International Campus is located at the American Airlines Training & Conference Center, in Fort Worth, Texas. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is located approximately 2 miles northeast of the school's campus. The main office telephone number is (817) 967-4424 and 24-hour Telefax (270) 682-5902. Administrative office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm central time.


Airline Flight Dispatcher Training Center is a recognized leader in the field of Airline Dispatcher and Airline Operational Control training. To date, we have successfully trained over 4200 students for their FAA Aircraft Dispatcher license. Hundreds of our graduates have been placed with airlines worldwide. Approximately 60 percent of our Flight Dispatcher trainees are international students.

 

In 1995, Airline Flight Dispatcher Training Center was awarded a training contract to train employees from the Federal Aviation Administration's Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The FAA recently established its own Operational Control Center, and employs FAA licensed Flight Dispatchers. The FAA operates a large fleet of B727 and Sabreliner aircraft worldwide. The Operational Control Center at the FAA Aeronautical Center monitors, controls and orchestrates all activities related to these flight operations. AFDTC graduates are now an integral part of this FAA team.

AFDTC is authorized by the U.S. Immigration/Naturalization Services (INS) to enroll non-resident international students and issue the I-20 for the M-1 Student Visa.

The Texas Workforce Commission approves us for U.S. Military Veteran's Benefits.

AFDTC is TRC (Texas Rehabilitative Services) approved. We work closely with PIC (Private Industry Councils) for the re-training of qualified state funded individuals seeking career training.

AFDTC is officially listed on the FedEx (Federal Express) approved list for tuition reimbursement program. If you are employed with FedEx, you should contact your department manager for specific details on these programs.

Airline Flight Dispatcher Training Center maintains a 92% first-time pass rate on FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Oral/Practical exams. AFDTC staff instructors are seasoned aviation industry veterans, highly experienced in Flight Dispatch and airline operational control systems.
