 On January 21, 2000, representatives from
the Airline Flight Dispatcher Training Center and the Civil Aviation
Administration of China met in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas to negotiate
a long-term training contract. After all was said and done, AFDTC
and CAAC signed an historic Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.)
for a period of 3 years. AFDTC has agreed to train the Flight
Dispatchers from China's 30+ airlines, as well as CAAC Flight
Dispatch Airline Safety Inspectors. The training center has also
agreed to develop computer-based training, as well as internet-based
training modules for the Chinese government. |
